Big Band Tartu met a lot of guest conductors and other big bands during all the years of activity, with whom we continued to communicate. So we know our sommon interests, wish to lissen and share eachothers music and ideas, like to meet and study something new. Thatfor we organize 9th International Happy Big Band Weekend 10-11th of March 2023 in Tartu and Tallinn, Estonia.

Star of this weekend will be Mr. Ville Vannemaa - conductor, multi-reed jazzmusician and teacher from Finland, who will take with him Junior All Star Big Band Finland. The other important international guest will be Sigulda Big Band form Latvia (conductor Arnis ©mitiñ¹). 

From our Estonian friends will participate Horre Zeiger Big Band (conductor Toomas Tutt), TalTech Big Band (concuctor Kristina Bianca Rantala) and Eller Big Band (conductor Tanel Aavakivi). 

From local forces will help us Tartu Sax Choir and Big Band Tartu as organizer, who has the pleasure and honour to celebrate 25th birthday of BB Tartu (guest conductor Teet Raik).
