Big Band Tartu met a lot of guest conductors and other big bands during all the years of activity, with whom we continued to communicate. So we know our sommon interests, wish to lissen and share eachothers music and ideas, like to meet and study something new. Thatfor we organize 4th International Happy Big Band Weekend 5-6th of May 2018 in Tartu, Estonia. Star of this weekend will be Mr. Jukka Linkola - composer, conductor, pianist and teacher from Finland. Our important international guest are Jelgava Big Band (conductor Raitis Asmanis and vocal soloist Aija Vitolina) with very special guests from Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra (USA) conductor Bobby Chavezi and trumpetsoloists Larry Gillespie and Konstantin Jemeljanov. From local forces will help us Tartu Levimuusikaorkester, Big Band of Eller Music Shool and Tartu Sax Choir. Big Band Tartu as organizer has pleasure to work with Mr. Jukka Linkola and prepare a program of his music. | ||
